Discussion
The outcome of my discussion with Pelita Borneo: what the problems were, and what solutions I proposed.
Client Problems
Tour packages explained repeatedly over chat
Itinerary details, pricing, and facilities of each package had to be explained manually to every prospect. Admins grew exhausted answering the same questions daily.
Package presentation unconvincing to prospects
Package offers were mere text and loose photos in chats. Prospects struggled to picture the trip experience and hesitated to pay.
No clear booking path from the web
Interested prospects had no clear action button. The journey from viewing a package to booking broke off halfway.
Proposed Solutions
Every package presented in detail and professionally
Itinerary, pricing, facilities, and terms of each package arranged neatly per page. Prospects read on their own until convinced, then reach out.
A destination gallery selling the trip experience
Destination photos and past trip documentation displayed prominently. Prospects can picture joining the trip before signing up.
WhatsApp booking button on every package
Each package page carries a booking button opening a WhatsApp chat with a pre-filled message matching the chosen package.
An FAQ page cutting repetitive questions
The most frequently asked questions summarized in an FAQ page. Admins only handle prospects genuinely serious about booking.

"The web helps a lot. Prospects now read the package details themselves first, those chatting us are mostly serious about joining. Repetitive questions dropped sharply."
Conclusion
The Pelita Borneo website project was completed and went live in March 2025. This tour travel business now owns a digital brochure working 24 hours: package details answered on-page, bookings flowing through WhatsApp, and admins freed from repetitive questions.
The main lesson: for tour travel businesses, a good website moves 80% of the explaining work to the page, so the team only focuses on the 20% that truly produces results, which is closing participants.
