Discussion
The outcome of my discussion with Yayasan Matepe: what the problems were, and what solutions I proposed.
Client Problems
The foundation had no official face on the internet
Prospective donors, volunteers, and partners who heard the foundation name and searched it on Google found nothing. Trust that should have been built from the start was held back.
Activity information scattered across social media only
Activity and program documentation lived only in social media posts that sank within days. There was no neat archive anyone could refer back to.
Structure and programs hard to explain over and over
Every time someone asked about the organizational structure or program list, the team had to explain from scratch over chat. There was no single reference page to send.
Proposed Solutions
A profile page explaining who this foundation is
Vision, mission, history, and legality arranged in a clear profile page. Every visitor immediately understands what field the foundation works in.
An easy-to-browse archive of activities and programs
Each activity and program got its own page with photo documentation. The archive is arranged chronologically and never sinks like on social media.
A transparent organizational structure
The board chart is shown openly with names and roles. This transparency matters for earning donor and partner trust.
One reference link for all common questions
The team now just sends the website link for questions about profile, activities, structure, and programs. Time once spent on repeated explanations goes back to core activities.

"The website helps us a lot. Now when someone asks about the foundation, we just send the link. Our activities and programs are documented neatly too."
Conclusion
The Yayasan Matepe website project was completed and went live in March 2025. The foundation now has an official digital home: profile, activities, structure, and programs neatly presented in one place anyone can refer to.
The main lesson: for nonprofit organizations, a website is proof of seriousness. Donors and partners assess transparency before deciding to support, and a neat website is the easiest way to show it.
